MUSEUM LARS JONSSON is hosted in Vamlingbo Vicarage, built 1779 and situated in the southernmost part of Gotland, in Vamlingbo parish. The Museum opened in 2004 and is operated by Lars Jonsson and his family. The exhibition of oiriginal work by the artist changes with the season and current projects. Usually there is a mixture of oilpaintings, watercolours and fieldsketches. Most works depict the local landscape and wildlife, bur often sketchbooks and paintings from more distant parts of the world is on show. The main exhibition includes five rooms on the first floor. On the ground floor you find a gallery with lithographs and a shop with books, posters and postcards by the artist.
Admission 60 SEK and 30 SEK for pre booked groups. No admission during winterseason.
We are happy to open for customers or groups at other times of the year after agreement.
